Golf is one of those sports that inspires passion among its devotees.  It doesn’t seem to matter how good you are; people of all skill levels are passionate about the game.  As someone who has taken up golf fairly recently I was surprised by how all consuming the game of golf can become.  Perhaps it is because it is such a challenging sport to learn.  One day you can’t seem to hit a bad shot and the next its like you are unable to even hit the golf ball.  How can something be so much fun and so frustrating at the same time?  Perhaps it is because it is one of those sports where there is always something new to learn or old skills to perfect.  If it was simple we would probably get bored.  Or perhaps its because it is played outdoors in a beautiful setting.  Whatever the reason for playing golf, with the number of golf lovers it is so wonder that golf communities are popular.

Charlottesville has a group of excellent golf neighborhoods if a golf course home is at the top of your wish list for a new home.  Each of the Charlottesville golf communities is a little different.  Some are gated and some are not.  They range from very exclusive to quite affordable.  You can find a townhouse, golf villa, golf cottage, large home to accommodate a growing family, or a luxury golf course home.  You will find a variety of home styles, prices, and sizes, but one thing that is the same for all of our golf neighborhoods is the fact that each has an outstanding golf course.
