What Will Be Under The Tree In Charlottesville Golf Communities?
As we count down to Christmas Eve it is interesting to think about what is on golfers’ Christmas lists? I am sure that there are many residents of Charlottesville golf course homes who will not be dreaming of sugar plums when they go to sleep on Christmas eve. One of the good things about buying presents for a golfer is that there is always something new that they want.
Golf clubs are constantly being redesigned and up dated. New technology abounds. That being said golf clubs are a very personal item and I would not buy them for anyone unless they had specifically listed what they want. And although a long putter may be the perfect solution for a golfer with the yips he may take the gift of one the wrong way unless he had mentioned trying one.
If your golf enthusiast likes to play our different Charlottesville golf courses as well as traveling to out of the area destinations, a gps or lazer range finder may be just the thing. The gps will offer maps and yardage information and the range finder does just what its name implies, tell you the distance to the hole or target.
One of the great thing about the game of golf is that you can play it anywhere you go. Also golf courses are usually built in beautiful locations. Tickets for a golfing vacation would be a big hit, especially to someplace warm. If you are traveling to a golf resort, chances are you will be flying. That means you will be lugging your golf clubs on the airplane. Although you will be checking them through to your destination, you will still need to get them from where you park the car, through the terminal to the ticket counter. Most of the travel bags do have a pair of wheels on one edge of the bottom. However anyone who has tried to maneuver one of these bags while at the same time towing a suitcase with the other hand, knows that it can be awkward at best. Now there is a great option for a new travel bag. The Club Glider Meridian has a set of legs with a second set of wheels that folds down. This enables the bag to stand up and also makes it more stable and easier to maneuver. I gave one of those to the golfer in my life and I think it will make our travel this holiday much easier.
That brings us to our final big present. Many homes in Charlottesville golf communities have oversized garages. And those oversized garages often have a third small door designed for a golf cart. What a surprise it would be to come down stairs on Christmas morning to find a new golf cart waiting with a big red bow. Do you think Santa could fit it in the sleigh?
What do you hope Santa will bring to your Charlottesville golf course home?
